You know there is something I realized the other day that I love Scrubs. Your probably saying which one the show or the clothing? Well the fact is I like them both but in this case I am talking about the clothing. My favorite brand is jockey scrubs and I own several pairs. I only by the bottoms and wear them to bed becasue they are so comfortable. There are several stores around that sell them but I like to buy these from online because I get discounts.

You maybe asking why do I like scrubs s...

I don't know about everyone else but I am ready for winter to be over. It has been snowing for the last several days and the wind just won't let up. I have several steps I take to keep warm and comfortable but my most enjoyable step is enjoying at least 1 if not 2 cups of tea each day. I like several different varieties of tea but my favorite has to be green tea and the best green tea can be found at this site. Of course you can also go to Starbucks and get a box of Tazo but I try to avoid those...

I took a trip to the vet the other day because my retriever was acting funny. He kind of had this limp and wined whenever I tried to pet him like he was in pain. I stopped going to our last vet because he was way overpriced. I knew the general location of this new vet so I jumped in the car and drove there. If wasn't for the clear signage on the street I would have probably passed this place up. I pulled in and took my dog in where I was greeted by a nurse wearing jockey medical uniforms immedia...

I keep hearing from a lot of my friends, who have babies, about these great blankets.  If you don't have any kids, then you can pass on this blog post, but if you've ever tried to put down a fussy baby, then read on.  This article will be very important to you.  First of all, what is a swaddling blanket.  A swaddling blanket is a baby blanket that is large enough to wrap around a baby in a secure way.  This method of wrapping a baby is ages old, and it gives them the sec...

Last year, I experimented with a Google Doc gift list that I could just email my relatives.  This year, I forgot to update it and got a bunch of crappy gifts.  That’ll teach me.  So, here are a few things on my gifts list right now.

I would like a 4gb mini sd card for my phone.
I would like a Mcklein briefcase for work (they have awesome leather briefcases)
I would like a steady stream of iTunes gift cards
Or, you can buy me Arcade Fire, Corinne Bailey Rae, Regina Sp...

My roommates had a baby boy this last year, and he just had his first Christmas.  When I saw them this morning, I asked if they got any cool, fun gifts for Christmas.  Stacy said no, but Ajax, her son got all kinds of cool things.  He got toys out the wazoo!  The thing is that little kids can only play with so many toys, so they get kind of useless after a while.  Great gifts for babies are either very functional gifts, like diapers or aden and anais blankets, or unique ...

I have a friend who works as a sports facility consultant.  I think that would be one of the coolest jobs ever.  When planning cities and sporting entertainment, you help with the construction of a stadium.  How cool is that!  So, basically ever NFL, MLB or NBA stadium you know of has had one of these guys come in and do their job.  Some of the work figuring out the financing, but a lot of the work is clearing out space for these large stadiums.  When most stadiums ...

At another Chick Fil A opening, and I have to brag a bit about my friends winning a competitive race.  Though, it’s not your typical race.  It was kind of a log race on land.  Basically, there are 2 planks for your left and right feet.  The teams are made of 4 people, and there are rope handles to hang onto.  The trick of the race is to be in sync with your teammates.

The reason I’m writing about it is because that I’m surprised my friends won. ...

Do you remember the excitement of Christmas morning as a kid?  It was incredible.  It’s been years since I’ve woken with such anticipation like that, but I still remember it like it was yesterday.  And it wasn’t just the morning.  It was the buildup before.  The weeks and even months before, hoping that you would get that right toy.  It still happens today.  Kids are hoping that package is filled with Thomas the Train toys, a Playmobil hospita...

Gift giving to our nieces and nephews is so much fun.  The only down side is that we usually can't trump what grandma and grandpa are going to get them, but we can still give them a lot of joy.  That's why gifts throughout the year are a good idea because the kids can forget things when they all happen at once at Christmas.  We took them here during the year and they loved it!  That said, Christmas gifts are still a lot of fun!

We were looking at this toy store for ...

It's that time of the year again.  Thanksgiving has come and gone, and now it's time to get that Christmas shopping taken care of.  For me, it's all about online shopping.  I love finding deals online, and you can get free shipping with most any products nowadays.  Why spend the time and the headache at the mall when it can be delivered to your door, many times for less?

This year, I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews to shop for.  So, the shopping will gear towards ch...

My wife and I just got back from an all inclusive trip to Mexico.  It was great, and even better, it was free!  She had helped with a financial campaign for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and because of how much she raised, was able to take me for free.  The stay was short, only 4 days and 3 nights, but it was fantastic.  The ocean is so healing.  Just being out in the sunshine and feeling the warm, ocean breeze is enough to keep you going for a while.   ...

I just watched an amazing video on Facebook from one of my friends who home schools their 5 kids.  This little 6 year old was spouting off more facts and information then I could remember from my entire elementary school days.  She knew all of the Kindgdoms of life.  She knew the first 5 commandments of the Old Testament.  She knew ancient civilizations, and I could go on and on.  Her dad cut her off on the video because she did so well and could have kept going on. &nbs...
